Dear Supporters,
On the morning after Election Day, I awoke filled with gratitude for the support we received in this campaign! The outcome was not what we hoped it would be, but I feel immense pride in our positive campaign.
Many thanks to those of you who contributed to our efforts through many volunteer hours and generous donations. I am deeply gratified to have earned your trust and vote. I also give special thanks to my Campaign Committee members, and especially to our campaign manager Leslie Hanrahan for her tireless dedication.
It has been my honor to serve Wellesley on the Natural Resources Commission these last eight years, and I’m proud of all that we’ve accomplished through thoughtful goal setting and collaboration. Our town’s immensely talented, qualified, and dedicated staff have made my years on the NRC a true pleasure.
For 45 years, the overriding mission of the Natural Resources Commission has been to pass along the full value of our natural assets to future generations. That mission continues to matter even more now, and I wish new commissioner Lisa Collins every success in carrying out this stewardship.
My actions, and this campaign, have always centered around the principle that what is right for our environment is also what is right for all of us. I know all of you will continue to advocate for our critical natural resources. I will be there with you!
With gratitude for your support,
Raina
